Advancement Advisory connects school strategic plans to operational alignment.

“However beautiful the strategy,
you should occasionally
look at the results.”
— Winston Churchill
School leaders are increasingly required to deliver more with less, yet many lack the time, data or structural clarity to know whether their admissions, marcomms, fundraising or community teams are truly fit‑for‑purpose.
Most leaders inherit legacy structures that no longer meet contemporary school needs, creating inefficiencies, role confusion and strategic drift.
Advancement Advisory helps Principals and institutional leaders restore clarity, confidence and alignment by connecting school strategic plans to disciplined operational execution.
Institutional advancement teams are audited and mapped by Advancement Advisory to ensure the structure is fit-for-purpose, best practice and mission-driven.
A 3-Stage Approach
I diagnose, design and strengthen your advancement operations to ensure every role, workflow and reporting line is aligned to mission, strategy and best practice.

Stage 1
Strategic Alignment
Stage 2
Structure and Workflow Audit
Stage 3
Transition Blueprint
I work wth you to review the alignment between your strategic priorities and day‑to‑day advancement activity through discovery discussions.
I map and audit current roles, structures and skill sets to optimise operational efficiencies and workflows.
I deliver a fit-for-purpose organisational structure with contemporary job descriptions and a practical change management plan that supports seamless staff transition.
I stay involved through implementation, supporting execution and momentum so change is delivered, not just planned.
The result is a mission‑driven, best‑practice advancement operation that strengthens brand, community engagement and sustainable revenue streams.

Advancement Advisory was born out of the inherent need to better connect advancement teams to their institutional leaders and respective strategic plans.
Prior to launching Advancement Advisory I worked as a senior Executive in a number of leading educational institutions where I led the growth and development of advancement teams - admissions, marketing, communications, fundraising, events, alumni, archives and community engagement - while delivering a strong market position, increased brand awareness, meaningful community connections and engagement, and the generation of sustainable revenue streams.
I bring senior executive experience with a proven record of building high‑performing advancement operations in leading independent schools, tertiary institutions and early childhood education.
I'm an industry recognised mentor, conference and workshop presenter, and a career customer experience leader whose experience spans strategic planning, brand development and stakeholder engagement.
Drawn to education following executive roles with two of Australia’s premier sports governing bodies and a number of leading national and international tourism organisations, I am grateful for the personal and professional nourishment the education sector provides.
As a Fellow of Educate+, an industry association representing more than 2,800 members of advancement, I'm delighted to be supporting the growth and prosperity of our sector:
